  I read about how sexual energy is VERY tied in with creativity. I've also heard that creativity is GREATLY tied in to the shadow, meaning that perhaps embracing our shadow is helping us to unlock our creativity, brilliance etc
  
  Debbie Ford's book, The Dark Side of The Light Chasers illuminated me to that concept.

  Well you know the basic idea behind tantra where you are basically directing your sexual energy back up your spine instead of outward in the "release".

  I think this comes naturally when one is not focused on the expectation of pleasure from sex. Then awareness is focused on the other and the connection between. The selves fall away and two are being instead of doing. Breathing becomes natural, there is no rush, no hurry to the end. This is what occurs when thoughts are stopped, when the world ceases to be.

  I don't if people know this...BUT sex and durgs are a very small of Tantra. It mainly deals with the science of energy !! and that energy ofcourse obeys the laws of physics !!
